Tire/wheel thumping at low speed

I have an issue with a light thumping sound at low speeds, It is very noticeable when the air pressure is at about 34. If it gets down in the low 30's the vibration almost almost goes away. Had the wheel straightened out(it was slightly bent) but that did not help. The tire shop said the tires looked good(roadforce balanced). Taking it in to BMW tomorrow. Took a BMW mechanic for a test drive and he thought it might be a wheel bearing. There is no noticeable vibration or noise when above 15 mph. Any ideas? It's driving me nuts!

I had a similar noise/feel and over time it gradually grew worse until one of the tire belts separated. Initially it looked and balanced ok but gradually became more noticeable and visible.

Could very well be the tires. If the wheel was bent the tire may have been damaged at the same time (if the same tire is on the the wheel).

Know anyone else with the same wheels? You could swap the suspect one out and see if that fixes it....if so, it's the tire and/or the wheel (probably the tire).

They are the original conti contacts that came on the car. Maybe time to get a set of Dunlops stars.
