Interest in Capristo BMW Z4M Exhaust Systems (Potential group buy?)

Saw a Capristo exhaust for the Z4 3.0l on YouTube and I haven't been able to sleep properly since.

And honestly...the capristo exhaust sounds MORE bad-ass than even the eisenmanns. (and i had eisenmanns before).

The videos below seem to be based off a one-off build as quoted by the owner of the videos.

I hate to say this, but I am almost quite certain to spend some green on this. Granted the price is definitely on the high end, but the sound is CRAZY insanely sweet for even the 3.0l. My friend has a Cayman S with Capristo and it sounded like the DEVIL. Is Capristo an orchestra-based company? lol

They have the open/close flap system (which i assume is for sound/performance) with in-cabin controller... so I'm assuming if there's a group of us who's interested in getting this... who's in?

From http://www.zroadster.com/forum/bmw_z...to_videos.html and another thread posted earlier, indicative pricing is

€ 3.800 (Est. $4,918.90) for the 3.0l mufflers (full exhaust? not sure)

I suspect the Ms will be around that price give or take (no, i haven't contacted them as of yet).

Oh yes, you may wish to read the forum thread (In german) but translated via Google here.

Obviously the plus point is the on-off flap system which cuts the sound down considerably vs being devilishly loud. Performance wise, errr as most exhaust systems go on Ms.. not much

That 3lt one sounds amazing. Better than anything i've heard for si's.

I wonder if you have any updates on this. Did you end up buying it? If you did what's it like?

How does the rear bumper fit on NON M Z4 (due the battery location)?
Do anyone have any document regarding the installation?
cheers
