Will 275/35ZR18 tire fit in the rear fender of Z4M Coupe?
I am currently running 245/40ZR18 tires in the front and 265/35ZR18 in the rear. This makes the front tire about 0.42 inches larger in diameter (25.72 in) than the rear (25.30 in). I am wondering if 275/35ZR18 tire would still fit in the rear stock fender of a 2007 Z4M Coupe? This would match the tire diameter front and back. I have Yoko AD08 tires (but I can change to any tire brand if the shoulder shape is a problem) and Volks TE37 rims: 18x9.5 and 18x10.5. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Ditto, I'm running 275/30/19 on my rear in my coupe with about 1" lower, very rarely it rubs the inside fender well..I know the spot on the local road and just slow down...

You should be fine, I run a 19" 275/30ZR Pilot SS with HRE's. Are you running stock suspension?

Thanks for the info. Great. The diameter of 275/30R19 is 25.50 inches and 275/35r18 is 25.58 inches so that would work.
I have AST 4200 coilovers in the front and dampers in the rear and Performance Friction BBK. BTW what tires do you all have? |

All diffusers on street cars are just for looks. The only place there would be any appreciable effect is at much higher speeds, usually on the track.

Shoot if you're adventurous enough, 275/35/R18s will fit in the FRONT. Ask me how I know.

Since nobody has gone ahead and answer for 18", I will say I have been running 275/35/18 lowered on KW Clubsports without any rubbing issues in HDPE driving.
Image because /M at Laguna (plus proof that at full compression no rubbing) |

SD is correct, diffusers only work for the track. The Fancywide diffuser is a great direct bolt for the money and it is strong.
This year we have dedicated most of our mods toward getting the Aerodynamics down. Working on a custom M4 GTS wing with IND 11 inch risers and a VRS front spoiler with splitter. I am lucky to have a number of great tracks in my area, so it makes sense for me and I do like the look. |
