Another MC is sold........another is bought...
I met a really nice guy a little over two years ago at a local BMWCCA drive. He drives a really tricked out M6 with all the Dinan speed goodies. This car is absolutely stunning.... That V10 sounds god awesome...
I convinced him to take his car to the track and learn how to drive it. I sensed that he was a little, scared is too strong a word for this will have to do, scared of the car. After one weekend track session (we were both at the same event abet in different run groups), he said 'not scared of it now, but have a very healthy respect for it', and a huge smile on his face. But in getting him to the track, I lit the fuse and he has the bug BAD... at least once a month he has his M6 at the track.... did the M school in SC ect. ect. ect. So he ask me about the 2006 MC on the BMWCCA website... Anyone who was looking on the BMWCCA website classifieds section at the 2006 MC, it is now sold....He flies out on Friday to drive it home. |

So, Ship...then think we can borrow the M6 next time at VIR?! Saw the owner up at BimmerWorld on Saturday--wish I'd known he was an almost MC owner.

So is this going to be his track car? I have to admit, I've always adored my car too much to bring it to the track and risk breaking something/wearing it out.

Thanks Shipkiller for the great iteration up to this point on my ///M journey. It has been unreal so far with the experiences with the "Beast". Meeting up with Shipkiller and seeing his ride definitely got me to thinking of what a great handling ride the Z4MC would be running the turns out at VIR or any other circuit. Of course the front and back straights are tough to match the pull of a tuned V10 but as we all know speed is gained in the turns. I am stoked about this next acquisition and can't wait to get more time out on the track.
Here are some shots of the beast with soon to follow of the additions.

Nice work Ship, and Randy, welcome! You'll have a blast with the Z4M a the track!
Phish, I hear yay, but it's just too much fun taking this little beast to the track to not do it. A few times a year isn't going to kill her--at least that's what I tell myself! |

You got the EXACT car I wanted. Silver gray, nav, carbon leather trim, red leather interior, coupe.
I strayed because I didn't think I would ever find the combo, being so rare. Only 26 were made with Silver gray or Space Gray, red interior, and carbon leather trim. |
