Carbon fiber frames! You'll make a killing! Seriously, I just thought of that. Gonna have to find some wrap and make it happen! |

Carbon fiber frames is an AWESOME idea! Go for it...do snap a picture of it should you decide to do it.
BTW...what size frame do you guys use or planning to use? This poster measured approx. 25.5" x 35.5", which is a bit out of the norm. The closest frame size that I can find is 24 x 36, which is the size of regular posters. |

I don't think it will happen as I don't think anyone will have a scanner large enough to scan it

Mine came today. Great packaging, and the "damaged" one has a very small and hardly noticable blemish. It's also HUGE!
I'm now trying to find carbon fiber wrap to see if I can DIY up a carbon fiber wrapped frame for the photo. I'm going to search, but can anyone point me in the right direction here in case my search skills prove inadequate? |

Let me know what you come up with for framing. As stated on my previous post, this print is a bit of an odd ball size. I don't really feel like paying for a "custom" frame

Over the winter, I picked up two nice posters - a silver Z4 roadster, and another of an Imola Red Z4M roadster. I had both of them plaque mounted at Costco here in Canada for around $40 each. The poster is mounted on a very stiff 1/4 inch board - looks very sharp. They did a great job and even had a nice wire on the back to hang the thing on the wall, and little rubber pads at the bottom corners so the wall does not get damaged.
I expect Costco in the US would do the same thing, but would probably be a bit cheaper.

^ I've done the same.
IMO it's the perfect way to mount posters.

I did a little trimming to my poster and then fit it into a 36x24 poster frame from a crafts store like Garden Ridge. Only cost like $10. Black plastic edges, protective clear acrylic?? cover and press board backing with hooks for handing.
