Strut brace
I know this might be a silly question, but are the M's supposed to come with a strut brace across the engine from left to right? I really never paid attention until this morning when i was looking for the screws to adjust the headlight. I only see two going from both shocks towards the center of the windshield.

No, they did not. The OEM accessory part can be easily fitted or there are several aftermarket suppliers who offer bars.

I don't know about that. But it is pretty.

So for those that have installed the strut brace, did you notice any difference at all during everyday "aggressive" driving or will it only shine during auto-x or track days?

You will notice a slight difference on a Roadster. It is very negligible on the Coupe'.
You do have to remember that the Coupe' is twice as stiff as the Roadster. I have a strut brace on both the Roadster and the Coupe. |

I have it. I auto X occasionally. Never noticed any difference with and without it, but I'm not a professional. Might be worth a a second here and there on the "ring" if you're a professional.

I felt there was a noticeable improvement in the stiffness for the roadster. And that was with an OEM bar. As far as appearance, it depends on what you are going for. If you like the competition look, the aftermarket bars look great. If you want the theme to stay along the lines of factory, the OEM bar is your choice.

I noticed a nice improvement with my roadster. Also I heard that it adds protection to the shock tower. Minor investment in my eyes for protection and overall handling around the corners. I have the OEM strut bar.
