ECU re-programming
Hello,
Anyone did a re-programming of the ecu to get some more horsepower? If so what gain did you get and is it worth it? Here in belgium you get a 22 hp and 22 Nm torque gain. I know you can get much more gains from superchargers etc ... but they are illegal here and have to be removed with each technical control. And ecu re-programming isn't visible at technical control. Thx Yves |

Interesting, I never knew there could be legislation like this anywhere. This must kill the after market turbo business in Belgium.

If you're going to upgrade the car, the biggest gains are from a catless european header (I assume that is already on your car), then 4.10 geared differential, and then a tune. If money allows, you can also get cams, and ess has a specific tune for that

Are engine swaps illegal? If not, go for the S85. (If money is no object of course)
