Another nail!
UGH just got my tires put on a couple weeks ago and I have a nail in them!!! This is the second time now in a year (last one was on one of my Bridgestones on my non-M Z4).
I don't think this one is repairable though because it is very close to the sidewall. Some good news though, looks like Continental has a standard road hazard warranty that will replace a tire that is damaged within the first 12 months or 2/32nds of an inch of treadwear so once the place I got them from opens at 9am I'm going to give them a call. Hahaha I KNOW! I had a huge thing with my neighbor about them blocking my garage so I couldn't get out and things got ugly. A little while after this happened is when I got the first nail in my tire. This time, I came home last night and the neighbor was washing his car in the middle of the road and was super friendly and said "Oh don't worry, I'll move it right now" but then the next day I wake up and I have a nail in my tire. Coincidence? ............ I think not.
LOL I'm just kidding, but yeah I can't say the thought didn't cross my mind and it's funny you bring it up because I'm slightly paranoid about it.

I used to have a neighbor like that, Reginald Soul or "R. Soul" I think his name was.

I always buy tires from discount tire, they repair all holes for free and their warranty they usually replace no questions asked at a prorated rate depending on tread left.

Alright got the scoop. Basically it is covered under the original Continental warranty but I have to pay first and then Continental will issue a credit within ~90 days.
