Bored. Snow/Ice on the ground in DALLAS!

I'm sitting here at work, a little bored, looking at Key West on Google Earth.
I'm wondering how I can get there in my little Z4.

You can do it! I've driven cross country a few times and it's so much fun.

Holy crap, this global warming is weird! I never would have figured that I would look out my window in January in eastern Canada and see no snow at all on the ground (its raining right now), while folks in Texas are talking about snow there.

Weird!!!!

What do you mean you're bored?! Get out there after work and find an open parking lot and spin some donuts. That's the best part of winter weather...

It's been hovering around freezing all night & day for the last 2 or 3 days in Dallas. You know where I noticed the most ice?
Right here on the 3rd & 4th levels of our parking garage at work.
The damn cement parking structure LEAKS. There are always sitting puddles of water on each level after it rains. So guess what those little puddles of water do now?
Right. They freeze. They are in the shade. Never get any sun and not much traffic so they are going to sit there all week. Every time I go up the grade and around the corner up to the next parking level there is another frozen puddle.
Slip sliding all the way to the fourth level so no one parks next to me. Not enough room to drift around the corners. Too many cement support posts.
No ice anywhere else on the roads except for the noobs who leave their yard sprinkler systems running. I think they are giving out tickets for that.

There is a bridge near my office that freezes over whenever we have weather like this. The city (Irving) never sands it down so it's always real slick. I love flooring it across that bridge. The engine is roaring and you barely move!

Now that's funny. G/L with the weather.

We have a near blizzard happening here now and it's supposed to go all night. Lots of snow and wind @80km (50 mph). The lights have been flicking for hours so it could very well be a cold night if the power goes off.

The Coupe is safely tucked away under cover in a heated garage.

Nothing to do with global warming.

I'm hating it though. I miss my mild Carolina winters. Instead it's snowed three times in the past three weeks.

Yeah, you guys in the southeast just got hammers a few days ago! So strange.
In Dallas, we're getting ready for the SuperBowl. I just heard the city & suburbs are planning on importing 300 snowplows from the Amarillo area just in case it snows or ices up during that week. The city officials really don't want any problems. Lots of contingency plans. It'll probably be 65 degrees that week.

Garage List
When texans say they have snow it means there is a slight accumulation (if even that) haha. I have a few cousins in Texas that try and play that snow card and then tell me their definition of snow.
