Z4M's dyno proof

I don't have any dyno shops in my area that I can drive to. They're all a few hours away. I know there's plenty of posts regarding the stock HP/TQ on a Z4M and also specs on modified S54's. I was wondering if anyone has the same setup (or similar) to mine and if you've dyno'd your car before I'd like to know where it stands.

All mods are as follows from front to rear of car:

* RPI scoop
* European catless headers
* DKF S-pipe with short 100 cell cats
* stock X-pipe
* RPI axleback exhaust

I understand the stock numbers are 330HP and 262 LB/FT of TQ. What would the mods listed above increase the HP/TQ to? I'm talking HP/TQ to the wheels but also on crank.

I still need to tune the car (TTFS), buy M Gruppe/Eventuri cold air intake (I understand there may be little to no gain, or even loss, of HP), a light pulley kit, and RE X-pipe. How much would power would I get from this, if any?

If I had to guess, I’d say somewhere around +15-20 crank hp for those mods without tune

With no tune, I'd actually say hardly any at all.
Gotta get that tuned. The intake mods your talking about do nothing for increasing performance, but do sound a lot better.
Even with a tune, your not going to be WOWed with your numbers. NA on these is a whole lotta cash for not much increase. Just making sure you know in advance before dumping a massive amount of cash into it.

Good luck.

I'd guess 360 hp, +/- 5 hp

You need a before/after dyno ramp run to determine the % gain.

MAF-based systems do a decent job taking into account certain types of mods, because they measure the airflow increase and can add more fuel. You might pick up a few hp with a tune. If you modify the intake, or change sensor locations (like O2 sensors on aftermarket headers), you're more likely to need a tune. If you had an alpha-n tune, you would definitely want a retune with any hardware change.

Thanks for your response guys. Vanne I've already spent a few $$$$ and looking forward to spend a few more to make it full bolt ons with a tune and those other little mods that may or may not see additional HP. I know It seems like i'm throwing away dollar bills here but I just don't see myself buying a supercharger (or saving for it), and then doing maintenance on it for this S54 running 102,xxx miles. These mods are just for fun really.
Pokey; definitely need a tune. Starting to inquire with TTFS. As for the Xpipe, I'm thinking Rogue Engineering but I was told that I could simply take the car to a muffler shop, have them cut out the resonator and voila! Any cons to doing this other than losing the OEM resonator?

My guess is with those mods you're knocking on the door of 300whp on a dynojet. I had a similar setup to yours, almost exact. Except for no secondary cats, drop in Filter on the stock airbox, and instead of the RPI catback I had straight pipes. With a really good tune you'll be pushing 310-320whp easily.
