Exclamation CA Legacy Plates ARE HERE!!!

CA Legacy Plates ARE HERE!!!

I'm ordering black plates, my car is Monaco Blue so it's perfect! CAN'T WAIT!!!

http://www.dmv.ca.gov/legacyplates/index.htm

From the DMV FAQ:
Q15: Will the DMV wait until January 1, 2015 to implement the program even if the minimum is reached before that date?
A: No. Once the required minimum is reached, implementation of the program will go into development.

http://www.dmv.ca.gov/legacyplates/faqs.htm

Let's get on it! I'll even place an order for my GF and bro.

Spread the word, the more people order the less we have to wait!

Ooooh, I've always been curious about these plates
If I already have a custom Cali plate (just on a plain Cali white background), can I just upgrade to one of these colored ones?

Also, which do you guys think would look best on TiAg?
I've been eyeing them blue plates for a while, but the black ones seem like a good fit as well. Hrmm...

edit: looks like I'd have to retire my current personalized plate in lieu of getting a new personalized replica plate. I'm leaning more towards blue right now lol.

Blue would look great on TiAg.

I'm going for black

Thanks for the heads up Aleksey.

I decided last minute against getting a plate because:
1) one of my friends said he'd defriend my ass if I got a blue plate
2) I currently have black ///M plate frame, and a black background plate would be too much black
3) I already have MFANATC on the base California plate, so I may as well stick with it

I already ordered my personalized plate. Too bad or else I will go for the black one for really old school. I remember my first car (62 VW) had a black license plate.

Just wanted to bump this. The black plate is at 3460/7500 plates to get them in production. So if anyone is on the fence, please send in your application!

Surprised there aren't more people hopping on this. Maybe people just don't know they can get them?

I think it's because having to physically mail a form and write a check is not worth the effort for most people. If they had an online form and web payment system they would have hit their target numbers in 1 day.

Yeah I thought for sure it would have happened by now.
