LED license plate lights issue

Hello,

Does anyone have experience with LED license plate lights causing the light bulb error light to come on on the instrument panel? Any solutions? My came on after installing WeissLicht LED License Plate lights.

Thanks!

Leds are polarity sensitive.
Double check your installation first.
Confirm both lights are working.
Lastly - Check the other bulbs on the car. Could be just a coincidence that another bulb decided to screw with you.

Good luck

Well this is concerning considering my should arrive tomorrow. Hopefully I don't have any issues with this when they arrive. Will report on them whenever I do get them installed (hopefully tomorrow afternoon).

I have R Dash with no issues as well. You could have a bad bulb or a bad resistor in one of the bulbs. Try swapping the bulbs around to see if it's a polarity issue and if that doesn't fix it demand some new bulbs.

I don't think the license plate bulbs are monitored.
Make sure you didn't have any other bulb decide to go out just to mess with you.

Just installed mine and I'm absolutely blown away at how bright those bastards are.

I have not gotten a bulb light and took it for about a 30 minute drive as well, I would look to your other bulbs to make sure they are all in working order as Stickmon suggested.
