Did you need any major maintenance work to keep her running to that mileage? Engine rebuild, suspension, ? I'm at 30,000 miles so still a ways to go to catch up to you.

LOL @ this thread. It's amazing how passionate the Moupesters are, compared to the roadster folk -- who *should* outnumber us 10 to 1!

It’s had lots of oil services & inspections as it was used on track a bit, so doubled up on the maintenance schedule. Normal stuff like pads, discs, tyres, etc. are purely down to how hard/frequently it is driven. Even doing 3 Ring trips a year, I was getting 20,000 miles out of a set of rear Michelin SuperSports. As for big bills, they didn’t start to appear until about 110,000 miles as I decided to replace the original suspension with Bilstein B16/PSS10. Next big bill was for clutch & flywheel at 140,000 miles. It had an accident at about 150,000 miles so had lots of rear-end mechanicals replaced then...diff, RTAs, drive shafts, etc. All in all, much cheaper to run than an e34 M5. I agree. It's pretty interesting how enthusiasts (basically all of *us* who are here on the forums) really tend to gravitate towards the coupe more than the roadster. Many less coupes exist yet still looks like us roadies are the minority around here
