RFTs vs Non-RFTs

Yes, I have searched and read several threads on this site and others.

BUT... for those who switched, how significant was the difference?

I have the factory (performance) 18" staggered setup with the RFT Bridgestones. The ride is harsh and I am experiencing considerable tramlining.

I am considering a set of 18" (non-staggered) M6 reps w/ PS2s, but before I pull the trigger I wanted to hear from those who made the switch.

Cheers!

Was really hoping someone would answer this thead as I am currently thinking of doing the same thing. So thought I would give it a bump Was there some real gains in handling, ride, noise etc. The only reason I can figure for RFTs is that you can drive them flat, but they seem very harsh. I am new to these types of tires and it seems like most the dealers in my rural setting are as well. I am thinking that a mobility kit will help with all but major blowouts etc. Thanx for any help

I do now

I went ahead and bought the wheels/tires... I'll post my report next week when I get everything installed.

Any SoCal folks interested in a set of stock 18" staggered performance wheels + RFTs?

Ok... so I bought the 18" M6 reps (from **********s.com) with a set of PS2s... oh and a BMW mobility kit.

First, I would like to say that the wheels look great and the **********s.com guys were super-cool answering all my lame questions.

Second, the difference between the RFTs vs. Non-RFTs is significant.

The ride is much more civilized... no more tramlining and the grip on these tires is unreal.

Definitely worth doing.
