MAF intake elbow gasket for Eventuri

Once again, the location of a part on RealOEM is baffling....

There is a gasket that goes on the MAF on the intake elbow side.
The intake manifold parts group shows the gasket #9 in pic but, they don't have #9 on the parts list.

Also strange is that they don't show the MAF itself, or the air filter box.
Went looking in other sections and coming up empty.....

Anyone have better luck finding this?

I want to replace this gasket for my Eventuri install.

TIA

That usually means that your particular model doesn't have that part.
I've had the intake apart once or twice, and don't remember any gasket around the air tube.
The MAF, and the O-ring for it, are here:

^thanks

interesting....
I didn't remember one either, but the MAF section that comes with the Eventuri looks like it should have one.
It also is included as part of the Eventuri instructions.

Anyone else that's installed the Eventuri wonder about this????

FYI
I looked it up for the E46 M3
It shows the part #9 gasket

09 Gasket 1 11617830104 $7.63

I think the Eventuri should use this gasket.
I'm going to order the M3 gasket and will report back.

The Eventuri comes with a new silicone gasket. The only gasket that gets re-used is #6

Funny, I was looking for it as well when installing my intake...but I don't have that #9 gasket either. Maybe it's an E46 thing only?

Yes it's I believe that's the case.

It's interesting that JCF received a gasket with his order.
They probably don't sent gaskets for an E46 but should send for the Z4.
The Eventuri MAF housing was designed for the E46 and should have that gasket.

Maybe I'm the one that is confused? You folks are talking about the manifold side gasket or the MAF side gasket? I'm talking about the silicone joiner for the maf to the air filter.

The black and blue part in the picture below is the silicone joiner/gasket between the MAF and the air filter. Are you talking about the other side? I can't remember but is the gasket for that already a part of the elbow?

Ahhhh wondered if that's what you were thinking.

This isn't the silicone joiner side.
I was referring to the MAF to elbow connection.

If you look at instruction # 9, the picture shows that they have installed the E46 gasket.

Just completed my install yesterday. No gasket for the MAF side was included in kit and I have never seen a gasket in this position. As mentioned, must be an e46 thing. If it fits, couldn't hurt to try adding it. Very happy with service/product! Car feels stronger through the revs, howls up top!
