The ultimate M Roadster: Manhart Racing MHZ4

I occasionally look at mobile.de listings for cars in Europe.

Why? Because the cars I really want are located either in Germany, Italy or Switzerland.

And last night I found my dream car. Well my dream car that is already built.

For a long time I have wanted a crazy car. An E85 M Roadster with the S85 packed tightly under the long that previously housed the legendary BMW M GmbH S54 inline-6 cylinder engine.

This one holds and enlarged S85 V10 that is now 5.8 liter and is pushing approximately 600-horsepower.

I am going to weeks of little sleep!

NEUPREIS ? 168,000 ($180,833 USD)
Asking price is ?67,850 ($73,034 USD)

MANHART MHZ4 5.8 V10
Prod. 01/01
Conversion to 5.8L was made before about 18.000KM
MANHART Stroker Kit 5.8L 600 hp
MANHART 380x34 Brake by Brembo
MANHART agar system
MANHART threaded drive by Bilstein
AC Schnitzer carbon attachments front and rear
OEM Hardtop
Hamann Race Alloy Wheels 20 "

This car is currently available.

If it's the Hornisse car I watch it a few times a month.

That car has a custom exhaust system and sounds other worldly to my ears.

I want to buy this car, in the worst way imaginable.

I never thought about it like that. Of course shipping, importing it and other costs will add to that price but still worth it in my estimation.

If you buy it, make sure the wheels get lost while the car is being transported. Egads those are terrible!

They do the car absolutely no justice. At least if you sold these horrible wheels to the sucker that's crazy enough to buy them, you can put those towards the VANOS solenoids which have become hilariously expensive.

Actually this IS the Hornisse car.
There's a strange story behind this.
Hornisse made a v10 z4.
Manhart also made a v10 z4.
The Hornisse car was sold, and it now surfaces in 'manhart trim', covered in manhart badges.
What is the deal with that.
There's a thread on the german z4 forum on this car.
And the car has been positively identified as the hornisse car.

Too bad that most of these builds are unreliable as hell. (and so is this one)
