Weird grating/metallic noise from front end

Good morning everyone.
I have a 2014 BMW Z4 E89 that, after having the headcover replaced (and tappet gasket while I was at it) started making this worrisome croaking/metallic noise.

The noise is coming from the front end, but can't figure out the exact spot (could be the RIGHT wheel, could be the engine, could be the dome bars, etc).
I've noticed it happens more when I'm on an uneven road, or going over a bump, or turning left.

Example:

Another example (less grating, more metallic):

Does this give you any ideas?

Does it make the noise sitting still, not rolling? = engine
Does it make noise coasting with the motor off? = suspension (turn key back on to prevent steering lock)

Good luck! I had a really nasty creak that ended up being the tower struts running from the firewall to the shock towers. e85

Hi!
Thanks for the advice.
It seems it makes the noise only while moving. Standing still (engine on or off) doesn't make any noise.

Could it be a rotten brake disc backing plate?

Something sounds loose in the suspension maybe. Not sure I would want to drive it until a shop wiggled all the suspension bits to make sure a wheel is not about to fly off.

To me it sounds like something rubbing on the blower fan. Was your fan turned off, if not turn it off and see if it makes noise while driving.
