Two misc. questions
1) What's your normal engine operating temp when you're just cruising around town?
2) Do all of the Z's produce an alert sound and flash "37" degrees when it hits...37 degrees outside temp? |

Slightly less than in the middle. Whatever temp that is. Slightly over middle after a 25 min track session.
And yup, I believe so. My e46m3 did the same chime at 37 degrees.

Every BMW that I've ever had, going back to 2003 have had the sound and cluster warning at 37 degrees. (Z4s & 3 series) |

Not sure at what temp it does it, but while my Silverado will not produce an alert, it will flash "ICE" in the temp display when first started at a temp that I know is above 32 deg. also.
