Thanks man it was my fault for not staying on top of this. I didn't realize there were so many people interested. Hopefully the shop will have another event. See u there.

Just come to the event anyways, there'll be plenty of other Zs showing up. Could be a small meet

Some of us are planning to do karting @ Lemans in Fremont (off of Mission Boulevard). Might even do dinner as well. We shall see. Everyone's invited to join

I'll be there around 12PM hopefully. Need to teach tennis in the morning, otherwise I'd be there earlier

Are there time reservations when we have to be there for our dyno session? Especially for those who paid?

Thanks!

There's a sign-up sheet that will start around 10AM or so I heard. So if you can't stay all day, then I urge you to go early and get dynoed earlier rather than later. G'luck! I'll see whomever there around noontime (just in time for food )

Unfortunately, everyone made lower than expected numbers. But do keep in mind that:
1) these particular dynos tend to read just ever so slightly lower than average
2) at the end of the day, these dynos are for referencing only
3) the only thing that really matters is comparing baseline vs. modified, i.e. "before" vs. "after"

I've personally had enough experience on these specific dynos, as well as others out there over the years (including dynojet, mustang, etc.) and have come to the above conclusion. Just take the numbers with a grain of salt and not for face value

All in all, it was a chill day with food, beverages, and dessert provided by the generous host. It was great meeting all of you that were able to make it out

Was hoping to meet you guys but you had left already when I showed up initially at 3pm. I was told to come back at 5 ... The dyno they had was a total pain in the ass, they needed to remove your wheels and install a hub adapter. Gotta give it to those guys, it was not easy work.

I could tell they were fatigued so I don't blame them, but it took about 45-60 minutes per car. That dyno system is crazy! The 4WD Cars must have tired them out.

My 964 put out 203HP. Not sure what to expect but I was hoping it could put about 260 to the flywheel so I was expecting a little more. Honestly she feels a lot faster than the Z4MC but it's probably that sweet horizontal-6 and the pickup-truck like torque curve.

All in all a fun day. I'll have to meet you guys some other time.

Lon,
When my car was on the dyno, were you able to rev it past 7000 rpm?
