These are a MUST if u live in Cali. Pair them with relocated o2 sensors to section 2, or with a euro section 2 and u have an awesome setup that passes most smog visuals.

So I understand, if I want to buy these, want to run a catalytic converter and and not get a check engine light, I need to also buy the Euro Section 2 but can I reuse the catalytic converter I have or do I have to replace it. If I have to replace it, is their an aftermarket one? Is there an aftermarket Euro Section 2?

I understand things are probably simpler if I remove the cat.

I am not trying to thread jack or sway anyone just trying to figure out what I would need to do if I bought these. I prefer running a cat, not getting a Check Engine light, and not running aftermarket software.

You need to add O2 bungs to the section 2, and the egt bung. These are weld on.
That's the easiest way. Mine hasn't thrown a code after a few thousand miles.

I was trying to figure out how to run it with a cat.

Your section 1 has a cat. Two actually.

So I remove my American headers, add the European headers, then add O2 bungs to the section 2 and the EGT bung and I am done?

I thought the Euro header is longer than the U.S. header?

I realize I already have cats, I was under the impression I would need to modify the piping or buy a different section 2 to make everything bolt together.

To answer your first question. Yes you are done. Just make sure u don't have any leaks and that you add the bungs in the correct location. Also don't add wire to the O2 sensor wires to make them longer. Just pull out all the slack that already exists. The wires will reach but u have to cut the wire loom. I have a video posted for that.

To answer your second question. The Euro and North American header are the same length. No cutting or extra welding is necessary. Other than the added bungs mentioned above and pulling out the extra wire needed to reach the bungs, its a simple bolt on process.

Best part. It's practically OEM with no Check Engine Light if u do it right.
