On my car when the headlights are not fully on the inner halo and the amber lights are on.

Do you rewire the headlights so the "turn signal' ambers are not constantly on when the headlights are on?

I dont think you need to rewire exactly but use a relay for the ambers?! Could be wrong tho, thats what im gonna do I'll test it out and if it works correctly ill post a schmatic. Unless anyone knows already and can verify it.

This gotta be the best cosmetic mod on Z4.
I'm very interested in GB on this but how long does it take to get my headlights back?

Takes a few days.

Not sure if Eric is doing the GB anymore you might want to email him and ask.

Its a shame you don't offer a DIY kit for people on the east coast,
Not everyone can be without their cars while this is being done

Id be all over it otherwise

Not really a DIY project considering the difficulty involved and the cost of making a mistake

Here are two more pics one with the headlights on.

Rom3n,

Your angle eyes look absolutely sick! I'm definitely very interested in doing the same mod. One thing that I'm kinda concerned about is the warranty. How good is it and how long does it last? What keeps me from getting the angel eyes is that I know 5~6 people in real life that have gotten the angle eyes for the E46's & E36's, and every one of them has had problems with the angel eyes between month 3 and 15. One guy actually went through 3 sets of them and the latest set he got still broke so he went back to stock. Aftermarket angle eyes don't seem to last very long on BMW's, or at least that's how it seems like.

I would agree its beyond most peoples ability,
But for people like myself on the other side of the country being without your car isn't something everyone can do,

I spoke to Eric and told him for east coasters its one week shipping to CA, almost a week to do the job and one week shipping back,
not to mention the high shipping rates for large boxes there and back which pretty much eliminated overnight shipping to CA and back,
The only way around it I figured was a DIY install,

So Alas,
No Angel eyes for me

The warranty is one year. I have seen eyes that are of poor quality also go out quickly. Im hoping these last me awhile I guess I will find out. They just look sooo good I had to take the chance Eric has been really good and having someone I can call on his cell phone if I have problems made the decision a bit easier.

im curious as to how to take apart the headlight...

I have baked headlights, installed angel eyes but apparently this headlight is an exception to the baking. so cut it open?

I might just buy the angel eyes
