Rmp or bimmersport both couldn't do it. Mike at stance factory was able to. On the other hand, stance factory wasn't able to spot that engine mount bracket bolts being broken even when I asked them to check. Another shop was able to tho.

I should have time to explore this further, soon.
I'll definitely post findings.

There were some recent posts on this topic, so figured it was about time to Git Er Done.

I'm happy to report that the coding was successful.
I no longer have the TPMS warnings. (& no more black tape )

Note;
this is for '07 & '08 cars that come with TPMS mounted in wheels.
with the code change, TPMS is disabled and sensors can be removed from the wheels. You will have no warning light.

Didn't read through the entire thread to see if this has been posted, but when I upgraded my wheels I simply didn't put new TPMS in them. On my very first drive I got a warning on my dash, held down the corresponding button on the center console to make it turn off, and it never returned. Have been driving for close to a year and it hasn't been a problem since.

If your car is a 2003 as indicated in your signature, it never had TPMS sensors in the wheels originally. Everything before mid to late 2006 used the wheel speed sensors to sense wheel speed changes to flag a tire going flat.
