WeatherTech Floor Mats are now available?
As far as i knew these weren't available at all. The only ones they sold were similar to the oem rubber all weather mats. Now it seems they have the 3d ones with the high side walls for automatic cars..
Does anyone know how well or poorly these fit in manual z4s? http://www.weathertech.com/bmw/2006/...ion/automatic/ |

News to me, when I checked a while back they didn't have any listings (though I searched for M Coupe/Roadster which still aren't populated) and was told it would be unlikely they would develop for an older, low-volume model.
I regularly deal with WeatherTech Canada through work, if nobody can chime in with experience I should be able to get a set to test fit. |

I use these mats in our work trucks. They are extremely durable, but also slick/slippery. Hard plastic compound. Might not be best for manual.

I received a set for Christmas, and they are great. The passenger side fits like a glove, but the drivers side lifts up a bit on the right. My ultimate cupholder keeps it down.
They only fit automatic models, I believe. So if you're driving standard, then I cannot say with certainty they will fit. View post on imgur.com

Word from my contact at WeatherTech regarding this fitment:
"From what I can tell, the matter of clutch pedal depression should be all that’s at issue here. We test and design to insure 100% throttle, 100% brake pedal and clutch movement. If something interferes with this we cover ourselves and don’t list. The manual transmission is definitely a NOT WORKING option, we did test this years back, but I do not know the severity of difference." He's going to get me a set to test fit, although I won't be able to get nice pictures until the springtime. From the sounds of it, I'm not sure it's worth the risk on a manual.

Thanks for the pictures. I wouldn't be against cutting the front wall to make sure the clutch doesn't get stuck. What I don't like is how low the passenger side is on the transmission tunnel..

I have an 06 Z4MR Manual with WeatherTech mats, initially the clutch pedal caught the top of the mat but after making some adjustments I've had no issues. I've had them for over a year in the Z4M and also my X6 and 335.
