For those with O2 CEL issues / Or catless even?

I bet this will help. Their old version won't work on our cars, but I bet the new version would.

I'll be the guinea pig if someone wants to sell me an OEM section 1 to modify (CHEAP...)? I'll bypass the cats with a test pipe and see what happens.

Betcha you could run catless.

Thoughts?

Saw this too, worth a try for 100 bux.Even if you are running cats and still getting the CEL this would be an easy fix.

I saw that someone was getting a CEL after installed the DKF cats. I guess I might have to go this route but it'll be awhile before I get around to it. Would love to know if these work.

If you're running catless why wouldn't you invest in a tune that could take care of this for you as well as make your car utilize the extra potential? To me that seems like the way to go.

Also, after some reading on their site, "One simulator per downstream oxygen sensor." so more like a $200 fix.

i had this on my straight-piped IS300 (all 3 cats removed) and it worked perfectly. the only downside is that you have to tap into wires going into the ECU. It's not hard, but it's kindof a "permanent" mod, since you're cutting/tapping into wires that aren't easily replaced.

it allowed me to pass VA emissions with no problems using the ODB-II machine (except visual inspection of a cat which they never do, and blue smoke/nose sniff, which they never do)

my last car was an Audi a4 2.0T, which I also ran catless, this time i used software (APR Stage II+) to get a good bump in power and also remove the CEL. This also passed with flying colors, and had the added benefit of fuel savings, and power.

Go ahead be the guinea pig

I will be trying it but not until I store the car in the fall
I have a CEL unrelated to my supercharger.
I installed a header this winter and the SES light turned on after 100 kms

If you still need the Section one, My vehicle came with a section one and the bottom cats already chopped off and test pipe welded. I'll Check if my shop still has it laying around if you still want it. Just pay shipping and you can have the piping free. Let me know if you still need it.
