the v3 is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to soft imo........ maybe the v3 with some swift springs would be perfect compromise.... i find my z4m on stock suspension just wayyyyy to soft and boat like, coming from evo's ect ect this thing is damn luxury in comparison, i want a race coilover and im Looking forward to the extra NVH they bring....

hahaha .. you crazy my friend!

When I get in my mom's '97 chrysler sebring convertible that is a boat and it floats. The Z4m is so far from it. I get that you are coming from stiffer setups, just find it funny you compared the M to a floaty boat. lol

+1 That's also the approach for my build. I want to build the best roadster possible.

I'm still considering the swift spring conversion. Those springs are awfully nice. If you convert the front of the V3s to 400lb/inch swift springs, that will get you very close to clubsport while still having a lifetime warranty (clubsports don't have a lifetime warranty).

The only thing that I don't like about the V3s is that the rear shock reservoirs are in the way of replacing the rear brake pads. Might have to get a BBK.

As for firmness: if you feel that the Z4 is a floaty boat definitely go for clubsports. However if you feel that stock is already pretty firm, but want less body roll and a more planted feeling while going over road imperfections, go for the V3s.

i can promise you this car feels soft as sin to me..... im coming from a long line of hardened sports car, dont get me wrong the stock z4m can handle fabulous out the boz with an agressive alignment but the car is far to soft, throw in the stag2 2 s/c and these ap BBK, all of the sudden the suspension is REALLY highlighted as th weak point.... But dont get me wrong, i absolutely love throwing this thing around and the stock shocks have really impressed me....

its time for a new level now and i think the clubsports will give me that....
im half tempted to go with the ground control ARBs as well and have the front ARB mounts re-inforced, this would be an pretty awesome setup....

Looks like me and my friend are going for the competition, just looking for the best price atm. With the strut brace and APEX already on, we are waiting for our AP Racing BBK already in the making and then it's time to get some performance

Never mind that, i went with KW clubsport, vorshlag camber/caster plates and swift springs 500/600. on middle settings the car feels great to me.
