There are several 18" choices in the 18lb range, if weight is a concern. Plus would you really want to increase your sidewall height? (unless running 1/4mile )

There are many 17s that fit all around. With a stiffer sidewall characteristic to most high performance tires, going up one size in aspect ratio isn't going to make a huge difference on turn in, may roll over a little bit more, but the 17" tires are so much cheaper anyway...

Well let me ask this..I have my tires from my old e34..and they are 255/40/17's.. I was thinking about putting them on my Z4..will I have any issues..Now I se some set ups of 255/35/18 that will fit in the rear of a z4....so am I good on a stock rim.?

Should fit, people run 245/40s on z4s with plenty of room in back
