I would check out the sound of the RPI exhaust first. I have them on my 07 Z4M roadster and although they sound mean when opened up there is a drone in the car. See if you can google some sound clips of the exhaust before you commit. If I could do it over, I would have probably went with a set of stromungs from reading this blogsite. Someone had a set of stromungs for sale at the same price @600$ for sale. I missed out on it. Just a heads up. Happy hunting!

Hey, I just bought a Z4 M coupe that came with the stock and RPI exhaust. Just too loud for me. I'm looking for your exact exhaust but it looks like the RPI exhaust is about $1100 new and these are in perfect shape with just about a 1000 miles on them.

Are you interested in adding some cash to the deal? If not I may be interested in buying your outright, though it looks like new ones are $600 plus shipping from Germany) and putting mine up for sale. Do you have pictures yet? I should have some later today.

EDIT: I can't read German but is that price for just one side?! Oh, man. Okay, I guess our systems are worth about the same. Let's get some pics up and see where we stand.

not to thread jack but...i have a set of stromugs that might have 1.5k miles on them....my car was recently totaled and I got them off before letting my car go. pm me if you are interested.

Madmax, how's it looking? I'm still here with cash in hand.

Mcoupe, it seems that those are quite a bit louder than the Remus though a definitive answer is hard to come by. I looked at the "calling all exhausts" thread and according to them it's massively louder but the car they tested it on had other exhaust mods.

EDIT: I see now in the lower spreadsheet they are much closer in loudness. Will investigate further.

I have Remus and have heard Stromung in person. Stromung is just a tad bit louder than the Remus, but not that much, though. If you really want Remus and can't find one, Stromung is a good alternative.

Madmax, if these aren't for sale please take down the post. I've been trying to buy these from you for nearly 3 weeks. After personally dealing with you in trying to trade our exhaust systems and now trying to outright buy yours, I'm done. Now I'm suspicious about you having asked me to send my RPI exhaust to you for $300 with only the hope that you'd send send me yours.
