ess s/c owners, fancy some under bonnet bling??

hi guys, their is becoming a few of us now....... really exciting to see this FI communitu growing and growing for this fab little car....

alittle story, upon my vt1 being upgraded to the vt2 kit, my plastic s/c intake got ruffed up, anyhow my tuner being my tuner has ordered me a brand new unit from ess which i believe should get shipped today.... so this is going to leave my old s/c intake sitting doing nothing.... so once my new unit arrives im going to send my old beat up one to a carbon fibre specialist to copy the exact intake in proper, real deal carbon......

Not only will this thing look awesome sprouting out of the already awesome looking supercharger, it'll save alittle weight (its suprisingly heavy actually) and resist heat alittle better so maybe help slightly lower AITs.....
if any of you guys fancy a carbon intake let me now as i'll get a few made, not looking to make a single penny on these, just wanted to hook up my fellow FI bredrins!! lol

for those confused by the part im talking about, look at the actual s/c unit, im referring to the plastic piece that is attached to the actual unit...

note: the rubber hose that runs from the top of the engine cover to the s.c intake has now been replaced by high quality black braid hosing, which not only looks a million times better also is much more flexible and allows really neat routing...... i am constantly changing and modding little parts for perfect fitment, anal i know but very worth while...

I may be in depending on what the cost shapes up to be...I don't have the slightest perspective for what that size of custom-fabbed CF part will cost. Since I'm relatively early in my mod journey, anything over $500 is probably best deployed to other improvements.
