Z4M AFE Cold Air Intake installed

Well here's another member who decided to opt for the AFE CAI. We installed it about a week ago...couldn't be happier. The car sounds so much more alive than before...not obnoxious, just deeper and sportier. It's really the way it should have sounded from the factory. Can I feel any hp/tq gains? Well, maybe a little bit, but that could all be due to the increase in engine volume. But I don't care...it made the car a lot more fun to drive...and that was the whole point any way.

Here's a pic of it installed (minus the heat shield that went on after the pic was taken)

Cheers!

It's wide open? That cannot be called a _cold_ air intake, can it?

In any case, looks nice and as long as you're happy with it.

there's a cover that goes on top of the filter box... I think the OP didn't put it on so he can display the system. Looking good!

If you actually read the post, you wouldn't need to ask questions like that.

I was wondering, do you have after market exhausts on? And in your opinion, is it worth the 519 that AFE wants for it?
