IF I had to guess. And the R-Comps is EXACTLY why the CSL is faster than the MZ4R. The difference between R-Comps and Street tires on a 3 mile course can be as much as 5 seconds on the same car driven by the same driver. On a 14 mile long course, extrapolate that 5 seconds per 3 miles to 14 miles? About 23 seconds. Hm... |

R-comps makes a huge difference.
Have not tried on a BMW, but on a couple of Caterham Super 7's. R-comps of course needs the right temperature to work properly. |
