it appears they may come in stainless or titanium with the titanium one being a pretty penny...

If your not looking for show car quality underneath your car then you might want to go the route i did and just cut out your resonator. Thats all the x- pipes are anyway, stock pipes with those cut away, had mine done at a local indy shop. $100. Small power gain, fantastic sound. Dont waste your money.

They seem to be hit & miss to varying degree.
I've done 2 one was not bad the other needed the pan adjustment as mentioned above.

Makes sense. I think I might have got lucky with mine. Maybe if the exhaust cans are adjusted to hang a bit higher and closer to the bumper, it could help clear the rear support.

I just had a custom complete exhaust system made for my car from my buddy who owns a performance shop and does fabrication. 3" dual piping all the way back up to the muffler area and then had the muffler section made from 4" titanium with dual 4" titanium tips. V band clamps to hold everything and no cats and no resonators at all. Saying it is loud is an understatement. I need to get a video posted up here for you guys to hear it! It will make your ears hurt but sounds like an ALMS car when I floor it!

Oh yeah forgot to mention the rest of the system is made from aluminum so it's super light and sounds different then using stainless steel.

I also had a BMS X-Pipe and mufflers. X-Pipe had no flat spots and kicked up the rasp a bit. Butt dyne felt a bit stronger.

Cell phone sound clip here.

I'm extremely curious to see if anyone has done a video of a secondary cat delete and the RE X Pipe with stock mufflers. I'm thinking this is going to be the perfect combo for daily.

I have RE cans and I'm seriously thinking about the RE section 1 and X-pipe.
Need to wait until after tax-time in case I get soaked.

Did you do headers/other sections already? Or do you just have the cans?

Just the cans. Gonna stay with stock headers as it's a DD.

I had my stock x-pipe off and if you look down the pipes you can see the construction. Looks like a standard resonator construction. Perforated pipe sharing one chamber... Can't see it but the chamber is probably packed.
