New owner of z4 M Roadster

Hello guys just picked up a Interlagos Blue M roadster 2 weeks ago at a dealership. 1 owner 53k miles no nav. but premium package. 26k out the door with extended warranty till dec 2013. I hope I got a decent deal? I will try to post some pictures up. Previous car was a S2000 so I am going to have to take the M to the twisties for me to see if I like the M better around the corners.

My migration from S2ki to Zpost starts today...

I agree. Power wise this M pulls hard. For the s2k it had to be in Vtec to feel any torque. I was torn between an M3 or the Z4 M but I love droptop too much. M3 verts doesnt look that great to me. 2 seater vert looks right but 4 seater vert...eh... to each their own

Another previous S2K'er here. The M's torque is amazing coming from the Honda. The Z4M is a lot more car. The weight is the only disappointing thing as it would be nice to be under 3K. You will be sure to enjoy it!

Seems like a good price. I checked out a local M roadster in Imola Red with similar miles and the dealer was asking $23k. They seemed to have had it for a while and even called me to say they dropped the price before it was sold. I'm guessing demand and prices are higher in SF so $26k certainly seems reasonable. Plus you get the better scenery for no extra charge

I'm starting to shop for a Z4M and saw the listing for the other one they have. Did you look at it also? If so, what did you think of it?

Yeah its from EastBay BMW. There was two IB there. The other one had 33k Miles black int. cf trim plus navigation. That one was my first choice but after test driving it, the suspension felt like crap. Car steering felt very floaty, and its lowered. Previous owner had a aftermarket exhaust on it before. The rear right bumper (where exhaust tips sticks out) got melted.... So I wouldnt recommend wasting a drive up there to check out the vehicle.

Oh funny thing was the drop top doesnt work on that car also -_-... maybe they got it fix by now.

dcun201, thanks for the intel on that other IB. So there is a good reason no one jumped on it spec'd like it was.
