Nav reporting wrong location. How to fix?

I've found my 2004 Z4 nav shows me at a wrong location. It's off by like 5 miles but continues to track my position as I drive (just at wrong location).

Seems like it just needs to be "reset" to start tracking correctly / re calibrated.

How does one do this?

So it's like that everywhere you go?
I've never heard of that before on any navi, but I know I've had some maps that were wrong in certain places.
My map thinks my street address is about 5 houses up the street.

It's not the maps that are wrong. It's my vehicle's position.

I have had the same issue! Seemed to come and go. It would be silly, would put me 10 miles West in the pacific ocean and as I would drive inland, it would then put me on the nearest streets 10mi west.

No fix, it seemed to go away on it's own IIRC.

The issue is your GPS antenna. There is a thread from a few years ago that outlines the fix. Do some searching, you should find it easily.
