Z4M "Coupe" Prices - NOT Roadsters
Here's a graphic of all currently for sale Z4Ms. I'm a little bored today and decided to research for when I buy. Enjoy. Last edited by zwest1; 05-26-2016 at 09:50 AM.. |

Very cool (and helpful!). Now can you compare this to data points from the past 5 years and show a collector/appreciation trend happening. Hindsight is 20/20, but I think the lowest price point might be behind us now...

Great job on the graph. I have my z4mr for sale maybe for a little bit less on your mark but serves a great purpose. They only gain value as the years come.

If I could get $24k for my 2006 Z4MR with 70k miles on it, I'd do a darned backflip. That's even with the nearly $10k in mods I have into it. I'll just believe that's what would happen. ;D
Thanks for the graph! |

These are not roadsters, just coupes.

Bit harsh...since it doesn't say anywhere in the OP that it's only coupes. I assumed it was both as well. Perhaps an edit is in order.

Great info! Would love to see this be a sticky where we could add to it yearly. My only concern is that the prices are all listed values for cars. It would be difficult, however more accurate, to track down sellers or ask new buyers what they paid and the mileage. With that said we could probably assume your original graph is correct within %10 on the sale prices (adjusting for any bartering)

With mine having 35k miles on it, looking at the graph I think many are asking for far more money than they will actually get.

Lotta roadster hate seems to be coming from your direction. Everyone has their preference and opinion be we try to keep things civil around here.

I have a hardtop that I can take off of mine, which I would almost argue is more rare and just as good looking as a coupe.
I was just commenting the other day, its funny how the vehicles no body used to want are the sought after ones today. ;0) |

We should all be glad that we own BMWs to begin with. Let alone a roadster or a coupe, I would like to think the majority of BMWs are a joy to drive. (Z4s are more joyful than the other BMWs though )
