Exhaust flanges..... where to source?
Before I run off and buy some borla mufflers, is there any place that sells the flanges like the ones used where the muffler is connected to the rear of the midpipe? I would like to have the option to bolt my custom muffler and tip combo on in the stock location and really dont want to chop the flanges off the stock muffler sections to do it.
Anyone done this before? does any place sell those flanges? Are there other options I'm not thinking of? If I can get some of these flanges and I could find these mufflers in the link below in straight tip design, I may buy these just to see how they sounded. If I dont like them I could simply unbolt them and bolt the stock pieces back on. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-E...Q5fAccessories

What ever exhaust shop you go to will be able to find them, or make them for you.

the flanges are specialty and my shop couldn't fabricate them soo...
they chopped off both flanges and put on the universals onto the stock pipes, aftermarket mufflers and my stock mufflers. in total 6 flanges were needed all for $70! good luck
