So I did something today...
As some of you might have stumbled across - I've been looking to sell my Z4MR (insert shameless plug http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1310666) that I've been enjoying for a couple seasons. Loved it, but never quite felt as in love as I did with my old E46 M3; and I've never been a convertible person.
I decided on it because the Z3M Roadster is what got me into cars and sparked my obsession with ///M, but with how much better the Z4 platform was it didn't make sense to get into a Z3. And as much as I preferred and lusted over the Coupe, I couldn't make the numbers work and I found such a good example of a Z4MR. Which brought us to the present. I decided this year to put out a feeler on my car to see what I could get after autotrader started filling up with mint condition E9X M3's for a good price. I thought that was the next logical step for me, I was wrong. The more I drove the M3's, the more I started to appreciate the Z4 platform. The E9X felt so heavy, and pedestrian compared to my current car. The engine was amazing, but didn't make up for how I felt in the roadie. It was lighter, stiffer, nimbler, and felt just felt special. I loved the small package and low seating position, and at my age (without a family), practicality isn't a concern. And it was at that point I knew I was getting a Z4MC, and it would be my car. Low and behold, one was for sale locally, with the exact spec I've always lusted over (IB on Black with carbon trim) with all of the modifications I've dreamed about but could never justify the price tag for. I knew I had to have it. And have it I did... Unfortunately I got 70% through cleaning it, and it started raining so I had to quickly pull it in and couldn't get any good pictures of it - so this is right after getting it home while she was still dirty. Hoping to get out this weekend and get some nice pictures of both cars.

Thanks all! I'm really in love right now, it is a dream car for me and because of everything that was done to it by the PO it drives like a dream as well.

If you would have told me 6 years ago when I graduated high school and was driving a beat-up, first car, Kia Rio (which is still my go-to DD) that I would own a Z4M, I'd have called you crazy. It's unbelievable that I have two sitting in the garage now. Hard-work pays off, and I'm so grateful.

As nice as it was to have the option of putting down the top, the coupe is definitely the car for me haha. Whenever I get that 'wind in my hair' desire I hop on the motorcycle.

Previous owner had the door panels and A and B pillars wrapped in alcantara with ///M blue stiching. Also has AC Schnitzer pedals, and a ZHP knob, but otherwise standard black leather w/ carbon leather trim.
