Z4M Fuel Vent Hose Rubbed Through
Have ground control coilovers lowered about 3/4"
Smelled gas after pulling in from a track session and looked and the vent hose is worn through. Not sure if it is from me or previous owner. It's been a track car for a while. Any permanent fixes? Rerouted vents? |

I would definitely replace rather than patch.
It's hard to tell exactly where this pic is taken, was it the tire that was rubbing on it?

Sorry, was at the track. It is the front of the right rear wheel well. It is the vent/drain nose coming out of the T for the filler hoses and feeds to behind the right rear tire.
I put some masking tape over the area to test if it was my setup causing the rubbing or if it had been there like that. Definitely not my setup. So I'll replace the hose and should be good. |
