Camber shims and Toe
After installing camber shim washers on the front of my Z4 M coupe. I measured my camber at about -2.9 degrees (iPhone). Sounds about right. I expected since I added washers that I would have more toe-in. When I measure with my new Longacres toe plates I get about .5 degrees toe-out. Does that sound right? For some reason I thought by installing the washers I would make more toe-in.

Yes, sounds right. More negative camber means more toe-out.
Shoot for zero toe with that much negative camber, unless you want to chew up the tires. That is tell out is nice for use on the track, but I wouldn't run it on the street. |
