SS Flex hoses

Why do some suppliers offer 4 hoses and some offer 6 hoses.
Where do the additional 2 hoses go?
RealOEM does not really explain.

There are solid lines on the rear trailing arms.
I believe some replace these with one long line, others leave the solid line and replace flex at each end.

So 4 in the rear and 2 at the front

Replacing the solid line seems redundant to me. Unless of course it is more susceptible to corrosion at that location

There have been a few discussions on this topic a while back.
One thought re the single line rear is that it eliminates a couple of joints.
Also, I'm not sure if the solid line is the same size.

My Stoptech's came c/w with a single rear, so that's what I went with.

OK makes sense now.
Items 5&11 are the 2 lines each side or 1 longer one depending on supplier.
