No time to install until Saturday but they're here and pretty! Some hardware is included for those curious, looks like the bolts to connect to the x-pipe

Installed today! Wasn't too bad either, just make sure if you DIY, that you just remove the exhaust mounts to make it easier. Also, after I installed the cans, I noticed that they were too low and did not look right. What I ended up doing if you run into this as well, is orient the exhaust couplers at the 12/6 O'clock and tighten the nut/bolt at the 12 o'clock first...this will raise the tips up. Once you have the pefect height, tighten the lower/6 o'clock nut/bolt...enjoy the pics!

1st pic is just one to show that I the e30 project was getting all the love, so had to give the Z4M something to feel like a part of the group!

I thought about posting a sound clip, but all I can say is that the sound is perfect! I have yet to do any significant driving, but it just sounds bolder, and meaning business...I can't think of how anyone will get this exhaust and not be happy...unless you want it a lot louder

Finished installing mine last night, then took it for a short "test drive"...2 hours later I come home with a smile ear to ear. Daddy like!

Didn't get my the tips perfect but had my garage door open while under the back of the car and was tired of getting bit by mosquitoes.

X2, sometimes with the hassle group buys make me wonder if they are worth the trouble. There was no hassle for me on this one. Putting mine on this weekend (or maybe trying to get it done late today).

Found enough time to install mine after work last night, and I'm very happy with this purchase the popping on decel is glorious when the top is down, sounds nasty like a 911 carrera I heard a few days ago.

Thanks Steenos, hope your car is back and you get to enjoy yours too

got mine on today! Install was a breeze. I highly recommend:
-13mm ratcheting wrench (as opposed to socket wrench) for the 2 bolts between the muffler and x pipe
-an impact gun with a 6" extension for the exhaust hangars.
-a caliper for making sure everything is evenly spaced. I'm 19mm from the 'M' in Stromung on the top of the mufflers til the bottom of the bumper. Whats everyone else at?

Those tools made everything a breeze.

I share the same sentiment as you guys
-should have come like this from the factory
-popping on decel is the best part
-greatly organized group buy

A part of me wishes it was a little louder but I'd rather have too soft and no drone over too loud and loud drone

Installed. Only problem is my gas mileage has gone WAY DOWN!**

**Only because I can't keep my foot out of it.

Love it. Perfect low tone and the butt dyno says "maybe" there's some more oomph there. Maybe.

Agreed! How long did the install take you guys? Is it difficult to do with just a jack and jack stands?

Took me a bit over an hour, but I also disconnected the rear side marker lights while I had the cans off (passenger side is a PITA). I had access to a full shop with lifts (awesome) but it would be just as easy on a pair of jack stands.

Sorry for no clips iPhone is pretty bad at capturing sound, and last time I tried recording while driving didn't work out so well

It took me 3 hours. That time includes getting the car up, putting it back down, clean up of tools and garbage and storage of old mufflers. I spent about 20 of those minutes on getting the tips aligned.
