Scored an M Coupe Today!!!!!

Ok so I'm fairly new to the site. Today I purchased an 2008 Z4m Coupe. Alpine White III over Red Nappa. 47k miles. Paid 34k. I feel like I over paid by a bit but I've been shopping around for awhile and that particular color scheme doesn't come up for sale to often so I pulled the trigger. It doesn't have the GPS which I did kind of want bc why not but from reading on here it's nothing special. I'll post some pics as soon as it gets here... Having it shipped from San Diego to OKC. I'd post the sellers pics but he already took it down. As soon as it arrives I want to throw some wheels and tires on it. I posted a pic of what I'm sort of looking for so if anyone could help with make model and size so I could go ahead and order them I would greatly appreciate it.

Great looking car. I like that little red stripe on the wheels, though I saw where you're replacing them. The nav isn't that great for a GPS, but it gives some more controls for the radio and allows you to connect a video camera. That would be cool. I have no nav, either.

Congratulations! Don't worry abut the Nav, these days I use my cell phone in both the M5 and Z4M coupe...now the one in the F80 is (for the moment) another story!

Not a fan of "time attack" wheels (seem a bit passé), but it will look great with any number of wheels.

Correct. That's just a pic of the wheels I wanted info on but after doing some research I've concluded they are Apex. Does anybody have a preference/opinion on VMR vs. Apex? Also I'm not sure about sizing. Should I go with 18" or 19" wheels. Not wanting to roll the fenders or any other modifications in that department right off the bat.

Those wheels in the pic you attached are definitely NOT Apex. I would however recommend Apex over VMRs. I've had 2 sets of Apex wheels myself but have not heard great things about VMRs in terms of durability.

^whs, those have an M logo, and are not Apex
I would definitely go with Apex over VMR.
They are also lighter weight.

Did some digging, the wheels in the picture you posted appear to be repainted 19" OEM E46 M3 Competition package wheels.

Thanks for the help man! I'm thinking I'm just going to go with Apex. I do need a little help though. Do talk have suggestions on the size and width? Do I need to order any spacers? Tire size? I'm guessing its stock suspension but it's had a few owners so not sure. I would like to have everything that I Ned here so when it arrives I can put them on same day. Lucky guy....what I would do is take the car to a reputable shop and do a full inspection and change all the fluids.

I'm thinking of selling these wheels to get apex 17x9.5....anybody knows how much these goes for? It's the m4 oem bmw wheels

Lol Shit man! My heart stopped there for a second haha! Will do! Usually I would try and do something like that prior to purchase but I didn't want to drag my feet on this one. They seem to get snatched up pretty quickly. Took a small gamble.
