I am good for a group drive from KW.

As one who plans many events, the only way to get one on the calendar is for someone to just take the lead, plan a date and location (a general consensus is fine) and just stick with it. You will never get 100% turn out and some will need to back out at the last minute anyway. I have an event for 75 on Tuesday and I know there will be at least 5 cancellations the night of. Fact of life.

Here is a thought (and feel free to ignore the noob) but what about planning dates for the whole driving season in advance but in different locations in the GTA/South West Ontario/Golden Horseshoe area? We could simply take turns organizing the meet in our own respective areas, or even farther afield if desired. For example, after a meet in TO, we could have a meet in KW, then up around Barrie, down in Hamilton...wherever someone wants to organize. Heck, I'd be up for planning an afternoon in wine country.

To me, aside from the social aspect, going for a great drive should be part of it.

Also in Europe for the last week of May. My schedule is a mess from now until October, but if I can make it work, I will be there. Last year was fun.

If it's north of TO, maybe the Hamilton contingent can meet up with the KW guys at the 401 and Hwy 6, then drive the rest of the way in together.

Great idea! Could meet at the park and ride...maybe even take a little cross country drive on some of the great roads north of the 401 from there.

I used to be a member at Diamond Back, would have come last year but I was out of town (for some reason I'm thinking it was F1 weekend), great place. If I'm in town I'll come out for sure.

Also I've been going to TedFest for years (disclaimer, Ted' s a pal of mine). Hoping to have over 120 cars out this year, a great event, love to see some more Z's.
