Hi am am ne wz4 o8 owner how do you tell if the DSC is on or off it is says DSC on the dash does that mean it is on or off?

I think the regular Z4 (non M) has the same system as the 3er.
If that's the case, this thread from E90 post basically sums up the DTC/DSC explanation.

As a default, the DSC is always ON unless you manually turn it off via the console mounted button.

///M Models have viscous LSD, which is superior to DTC in my opinion.

The standard DSC mode on the ///M seems as aggressive, if not slight more so than the DTC mode on the E90 (ie in allowing wheel spin).
