Ride quality on wheels size thoughts

Trying to decide on a size for a new set of wheels. 18" or 19" the reason I am even thinking about 19" wheels is that I don't really like the tire size changes when going to wider wheels front and rear. 245's and 275's are both a little on the short side and affect the speedometer accuracy. 19" tire options are FAR closer to the stock size tires and will maintain the speedometer accuracy. My concern on 19" wheels is how much rougher of a ride is the 19" setup? I know some of it depends on the tires itself. These will be the daily driver setup and no real ultra sticky tires will be needed, I have a track setup for that.

didnt notice any rougher ride with the 19s, in my case they were lighter than the stock units.... genuinely didnt notice a worse or crashier ride..

My 19's with street tires ride much better than my factory 18's and are significantly lighter.

IMO if it's strictly street DD, go with 19"
I think they're the perfect size for "looks"
You won't notice much if any difference in ride quality.

Are you on OE suspension?

100% depends on the road conditions where you drive. Uneven or bad road conditions with potholes a possibility? Then go with 18's. Assuming the same rim (not comparing OEM 18's vs other 19's) the 18's will be lighter than the 19's resulting in less "crashing" and also reduce your risk of from rim damage.

If you've got good road conditions then it sounds like people are having good experiences with 19's. I run 18's both summer and winter rims. My general road conditions here in Westchester county NY are bad.
