I assume this is not a factory radio. Yes, wire the radio to a switched fuse location that switched, the two original radio fuse locations provide a switched and a non switched location. This is probably the best easiest way.
Keep in mind some radios. Will usuall have on switched power line an one that is not, the one that is not keeps the radios clock, memory and the like alive. |

Factory radio, I read the manual and the radio will turn off 20 minutes after the ignition is turned off or the radio is turned on w/ the ignition off. I tried it and it works ;-)
