SPEC clutch installed and now I have 3/8" play in pedal

Ok I have play in the clutch pedal after my SPEC clutch installed. Is there a bushing set I can pick up or something? I don;t want to get the ME clutch pedal if i dont have to so for now thats outta the question. The shop i took it to recommended that and a new master cylinder (what the clutch pedal pushes into) if they make a non plastic one. Anyone have any of the same issues? No there is no squeak or side to side play.

I'm pretty good at fabricating things so I'm going to look into it a bit more just thought I;d ask.

Thanks Phill
