Need Picture of 03-05 Z4 with NO Fogs

I don't think I've ever seen a pre-facelift Z4 (03-05) that did not have fog lights but apparently you could've optioned it that way. And if you didn't get fog lights, you had these covers installed from factory, part number 51117044227 (left) and 51117044228 (right).

Does anyone have pictures of what these covers look like? Couldn't pull anything off the web bio I'm thinking about changing up my brake duct cooling on my Aero bumper (currently running fog lights). I think the fog lights would be a great area to collect air. And rather than mess with different flanges, these covers might be the trick if they mount flush to the bumper.

The closest thing I could find was this BMW DIY Retrofit guide which shows what the covers look like from the back, not very helpful lol

I will check when I get home for a picture. The covers are just a flat plate attached from the rear.

I figured it's flat on the side facing the driver, but what about the the side facing forward towards the bumper? I was hoping the 'cover' was just like a dummy fog light, taking on the same shape where it extends forward and closes the gap between bumper and light/cover.

Btw, any chance you'd be willing to sell me both fog covers if they're just collecting dust? =D

The cover does not extend forward. It is flat. Just picture the fog recesses with the actual light removed and a flat plate at the bottom of the recess.

My wifes car did not come with fogs, so it has the flat plates... It is a very early 2003 (Oct 2002) build.

you could get 2 of each side of blank, cut 1 of each to flip, and sandwich a hose flange between them for the hose to attach to. punch a hole in the "unmodified" blank... Vuola!

BMWCCA price is $17.95/ea. not too shabby!
