Yes, I have been slacking .

We are suposed to have the internet hooked up this weekend at the house. My "High Speed" DSL connection @ work is to slow to upload photos. This is my excuse for the lack of updates.

r4gs,
The Gruppe M installation is very easy.

No codes from the Gruppe M. You can install this intake without any issues. The codes were from trying to adapt the CF plenum to our car by relocating a vacuum line. This had nothing do do with the Gruppe M. I had just done both mods at the same time.

The Gruppe M sounds amazing too.

that sounds comforting. are there any resources available that document, preferably pictorially, how to replace the stock airbox with the gruppe m? i've done a search on zpost and on google and haven't come up with much beyond the installation pdf from gruppe m themselves, which is terribly cryptic!

I havn't found anything great out there, but if you end up getting the intake I will put something together for you with the pictures I have.

The direction are sort of lame, but the install is very straight forward. The factory box is held in with rubber compression grommets, so once you disconnect the intake elbow and MAF, it just pulls straight out.

Just shoot me a PM if you want some more guidance

Best thread ever!

I am thinking about the clear bra, but I hate seeing the outline of the edges of it on the bumper (for some models)....I couldn't see it on yours, does it completely cover it?

Thanks!

When the car has just been detailed, you do not see the clear bra outline. My clear bra goes about 1/4 the way up the hood and fenders, and covers the entire bumper.

When the car is dirty, the clear bra outline is very visible. I hate seeing the outline too. I am willing to put up with this though becasue it really does a great job protecting the paint from rock chips. I have driven aprx. 20k with the clear bra and the front end still looks new.
