2006 Z4 - How to put Aux + USB in Glovebox?
I have a Business CD on 2006 Z4 (E85) model, with no CD changer.
I would like to install AUX and USB(for charging) port in the glovebox so that I can hide the Bluetooth Audio. I currently don't have any AUX installed. I can see that I can use this to install AUX http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B000PA00XM However, I cannot find any instruction how to pull power line to USB port. What would be the easiest way to do this? ----------- Side question. My cigar jack drains power if something is plugged in, even when the engine is turned off. Is this a normal behavior? Any comments appreciated. |

You can use a dashcam power adapter and tap into the cigarette lighted lines. Should be an easy project.
This is what you need: http://www.amazon.com/Compact-Hardwi...h+cam+hardwire |
