Clicking CV after lowering
So I recently lowered the coupe on KWs and now sometimes I hear a 'click click click' coming from the rear CV, it doesn't do it all the time. My local indie shop quoted $700 Aussie to fix it. Has anyone else experienced this after lowering? The car has 49k kms so surely not worn out but might just be working at a different angle after lowering

Digs, that click click click noise in straight line or when turning corners?forwards? Backwards? Did your Indi tell you what the drama was?
The boots not ripped? If the boots are fine, I'd have a hard time believing the cv joint is shagged after 50k.. You sure it's not the shock/spring combo touching each other somehow, I have this on my other car sometime and shits me to pieces..

Clicks in a straight line but being in the rear could be diff side OR wheel side. I just had a look at the rubber boots and they look ok. Didn't speak to the tech but he left a note saying 'rear cv replacement will stop clicking'. Quite sure he's right because I had a bit of a shudder under acceleration as well, which apparently is a symptom of a shot cv. 49k kms and pretty sure this car hasn't been tracked. Oh well, this is a car I don't mind throwing money at
